Associated Hearing is currently expanding its hearing healthcare practice in the New Orleans area and is seeking an Audiologist who is a self-starter, motivated, and passionate about patient care. Our ideal candidate must be as equally strong clinically as they are in motivating patients by employing effective counseling while building patient rapport. Daily Tasks and Responsibilities
  • Establish rapport with and gather history from patients
  • Conduct audiometric testing, counsel patients, and make recommendations for hearing aids
  • Make ear impressions, fit ear molds, and order instruments
  • Program and fit hearing aids with current technology (real ear measurement)
  • Provide follow-up sessions for patients adjustments, counseling and personal concerns
  • Maintain documentation and patient files within our computer data files
  • Be community minded and willing to do outreach lectures and seminars to civic groups
  • Be willing to utilize current files to meet and greet current patients to bring them in for follow-up care and to be comfortable in asking for referrals
  • Be motivated to do physician outreach programs


  • Master’s Degree in Audiology but Au.D. is preferred
  • Active and current hearing aid dispensing license

The successful audiologist will also possess the following:

    • The ability to interact professionally at all times with patients, physicians, and team members
    • Provide a personal, professional and financial goal assessment to ensure your personal success
